Project Highlight | Snowman’s SRM CO₂ System Successfully Deployed in the Philippines

Snowman Group has successfully delivered SRM CO₂ secondary refrigeration system in the Philippines, supporting Kryos Cold Storage’s facility upgrade in Bulacan. The project serves international food service chains such as McDonald’s, with strict requirements for food safety, temperature control, and system stability.

The system adopts a dual natural refrigerant solution of R744 (CO₂) and R717 (ammonia), reducing ammonia charge while enhancing safety and environmental performance. The compound refrigeration system including a high-stage screw compressor and a booster-stage screw compressor significantly improves energy efficiency (COP). To address the challenge of high standstill pressure in CO₂ systems, Snowman specially designed a standby unit cooling system that not only saves energy but also enhances system stability.
